Clik here to view. You guys, I don't understand how any of this is even possible. Halle Berry debuted her post-baby body last night, and she sure looked svelte just four months after Maceo's arrival. Berry showed up at the Acapulco Film Festival in a slinky, sleeveless black mini-dress. And she doesn't just look "great for a 47-year-old who just gave birth." She looks great for anyone at any age. Okay, Halle. We give up. You win!
Doesn't it feel like a contest with the celebs sometimes? Like "who can get their body back the fastest?!?" Halle Berry just took that to a whole 'nother level.
On one hand, I'm not surprised she bounced back so quickly because we all saw photos of her throughout her pregnancy and she didn't look like she gained that much in the first place.
But on the other hand, the woman is 47 years old! It's ah-mazing that she conceived a baby at all. (The odds are ever NOT in your favor once you get past 40.) It's ah-mazing that there were no complications or problems (that we know of). And it's ah-mazing that she looks so ah-mazing just four months later. I'm starting to suspect that Halle is not a human being but is, in fact, an extremely well-designed android. Because how do you do all of that?
Okay. Deep breath. First of all, she could be wearing Spanx under that dress I think it's commendable that Halle is so healthy and has worked so hard to keep herself fit throughout her pregnancy and after. I think that's inspiring for us all. But I also wonder, does this set impossibly high expectations for the rest of us?
Do you think Halle Berry's childbirth and weight loss at 47 is inspiring or intimidating?
