Police have updated the horrible chain of events that led to last week's deaths of Lucia and Leo Krim with new information. On Saturday Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said, "we believe now that the nanny began to stab herself as the woman entered the room." They had previously thought Yoselyn Ortega had stabbed herself before mother Marina Krim arrived on the scene. Apparently Ortega started stabbing herself in the neck with a kitchen knife after Marina walked into the bathroom and saw her two children in the bathtub. Police say Ortega had already slit her wrists. Why would Ortega do that?![]()
