The Stir just got a front row seat to watch Hillary Clinton launch her presidential campaign. The zingers were flying, the crowd was loving it, and I have to say, the former Madam Secretary is already giving the competition some formidable material. Here's the first volley -- who will return, guys?

Here are my favorite lines from today's speech.

1. "There's some new faces in the Republican choir. But they're all singing the same song. A song called 'Yesterday.'"

Okay Republican candidates, you're all starting out sounding an awful lot like each other, and I'm not hearing anything new. Who's going to stand out with a fresh message?

2. "Republicans like to say 'I am not a scientist.' Well then why don't they start listening to people who are scientists?"

Good question. Could it be because they don't like what scientists have to say?

3. "I know how hard this job is. I've seen it up close and personal."

Maybe too up close and personal for some! But at least she knows what she's getting herself into.

4. "I will be the youngest female president."

Ha, I guess you can make that claim if you're the only one.

5. "You won't see my hair turn white in the White House. I've been coloring it for years!"

Hah, you and me both.

6. "I've been called many things by many people, but 'quitter' isn't one of them."

This is for the friends and family members who texted me during her speech asking if she'd conceded to Bernie Sanders yet.

7. "I want to live in an America where every father can tell his daughter, 'yes, you can be anything you want, even president.'"

Aww -- me too! I met a mom at the campaign launch who said she brought her two daughters because because she wanted them to see a woman running for president.

And these last two aren't really zingers. They're quotes from Clinton's mother, Dorothy Rodham. But I'm including them just because they're inspiring.

"Everyone needs a chance and a champion."

"Life's not about what happens to you. It's about what you do about what life does to you. So get back out there."

Which Republican candidate will have the wittiest -- and meatiest -- zingers?
