I decided a long time ago white clothes are just not for me. I was a slob to begin with, and motherhood just made things worse. Perfect white shirt? I'll see you in my dreams -- at least that's what I thought until I saw this: The Elizabeth & Clarke Unstainable™ White Shirt.
Using nanotechnology the shirt repels everything water or oil-based you can throw at it. YES, that includes sweat. And it comes in four different styles: A long-sleeved button up, a pocket t-shirt (loving dubbed the "Liz Lemon"), a sleeveless button-up, and a silky Henley.
My friends, this is your white shirt fantasy come to life!
Think of how much easier this could make your life! Now you can pull your ketchup-coated kid out of their high chair after a meal without having to change your clothes afterwards. If you get peed on changing a diaper it's fine. Leaking breastmilk? No problem. Sweating at the kids' 2000th soccer game? 'Sokay. You, Mama, can wear white again before the kids graduate from high school.
Basically this will be you every time you get dressed.
Here is what I'm going to do. I'm going to buy one of each, and that's all I'm wearing forever after for the rest of my life. I'm done! Here is my wardrobe, everyone. OH BUT WAIT -- there's just one little problem.
These shirts do not yet exist.
Nope, this is another Kickstarter bait-and-switch. The inventors need a huge infusion of cash to start making the shirts of our dreams, so they're raising funds. But if you pledge to help fund the project you can still get shirts in return, so you can sort of buy them.
Whatever. That's close enough for me.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to spend the rest of the day "funding" this project. Because I believe in dreams.
Do you avoid wearing white because it stains so easily?
