Clik here to view.If someone caught your spouse cheating on you, would you want them to tell you? Or would you rather he mind his own business? One man was caught in this dilemma when he saw a pregnant woman texting another man -- while sitting next to her boyfriend! Or that's what he thought he was seeing, anyway. He got involved. Did he do the right thing?
Here's how the unnamed man told the story in a Facebook post -- which included a snapshot he took of the couple from behind:
I was at the Detroit Lions game today when I noticed the woman who looked 8 months pregnant in a seat in front of me texting a man with messages like "I wish I was with you all day" and "I will see you when I'm done with him." She kept hiding her phone every time her partner put his arm around her or reached in to talk to her. So being the man that I am I couldn't help it ... I had to write him a little note and on his way out after the game was done I simply waited for him to exit and stopped him in front of his woman and handed him a piece of paper and said "I don't know you and you don't know me, read this when you get home. TRUST ME." He looked at me confused and said, "okay." And that was it, idk what happened after and I was a little tipsy but I don't care, it felt good. I hate fake people.
Man, that must have been one boring football game. Way to keep your fans' attention, Detroit Lions! But back to our drama, the stranger's note read:
I don't know you and you don't know me. When you get home check your girlfriend's phone. She's been texting "Jason" saying she wishes she was with him all day! Take care, wish you all the best. Happy Thanksgiving.
Whoa. So imagine if you were the one (supposedly) being cheated on. Wouldn't you want someone to have your back and alert you to the betrayal? This good Samaritan is just looking out for you, trying to save you bigger heartbreak and humiliation later on down the road. It's a kind gesture.
Or is it? There's so much we don't know about this story, starting with the stranger's name. (I mean, this could be another hoax for all we know.) Was the man the pregnant woman was with her boyfriend? He could have been her brother.

For that matter, "Jason" could be her gay best friend. Maybe she's really looking forward to going Christmas shopping with Jason after she finishes watching this BORING football game with her boyfriend -- whom she loves dearly, that's why she's at that game with him even though she'd rather be shopping. For a Christmas present -- FOR HER BOYFRIEND.
Another possible scenario is that her boyfriend is abusive, and she's planning her escape with Jason. Now that her boyfriend has been tipped off, the violence could escalate. It will be harder for her to escape because he's on alert now. And her life could be in danger now, thanks to the guy who hates fake people.
Let's not forget that this woman is pregnant and about to bring a human being into the world, a person who will need a father in his or her life. That complicates things, you know?
Honestly, I think when it comes to "exposing" cheating, you should look out for your closest friends. But strangers? In an isolated incident for which you have ZERO context? I think it's a bad idea. And in this case, I think this was more about the stranger probably feeling bitter about his own past experiences with women and taking that out on this pregnant woman. It's more about him, and wanting to feel vindicated, and wanting to feel like a hero, than actually wanting to help someone.
But who knows -- maybe he was right all along, and the pregnant woman admitted her affair and finally left boyfriend 1 for boyfriend 2. Heck, maybe the stranger did this woman a favor by pushing her to leave a relationship that was making her unhappy. You could see it that way!
Do you think this stranger did the right thing in exposing what he thought was a cheating girlfriend?
