Ever feel in the mood for brownies -- but don't want to bake a whole batch, or use the oven? Well hooray for you, there's a recipe for that. You can make a single-serving of brownies using your microwave. Brownie in a cup, anyone? Just mix and nuke, and eat it right out of the mug you cooked it in. Just like that chocolate chip cookie in a cup recipe. No messy bowls to clean up, either. I mean, this recipe is practically cheating, it's so easy.
Mug Brownie via Instructables
Ingredients
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (don't use cocoa mix or Quik, it shouldn't have any sugar)
Dash of salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (don't use one with a strong flavor, e.g., olive, sesame, etc.)
2 tablespoons water
Mug
Microwave
Directions
Add flour, sugar, cocoa, and salt to the mug and mix. Then add the oil and water and mix the dry and wet ingredients together. Be sure to be thorough, there's a tendency for clumps of the dry ingredients to form.
Microwave on high for roughly a minute. You may have to microwave it longer or shorter, depending on your microwave, but the brownie should still be wet in the center when done.
It's done! Let it cool, grab a spoon, and dig in straight from the mug. I recommend adding a scoop of ice cream for maximum deliciousness.
